What’s a project?

A ReadMe project is where your docs live. Each project has a unique set of features and content (such as a Landing Page, Guides, and API Reference) published to a unique domain and are enabled on a project-wide basis.

While you may have multiple ReadMe projects on separate plans, you must be on the Enterprise plan to host multiple projects on a single domain, set up global search across projects, and use other multi-project administration features.

How are API logs used in Developer Dashboard pricing?

Developer Dashboard is priced based on the volume of API logs you send to ReadMe each month at $100 per month for 5M logs, then $10 per additional 1M logs. If you hit your limit, you increase capacity, or wait for the start of the next month for your limit to reset.

Metrics gives you visibility into your users’ usage of your API, enabling you to track adoption over time and invest in high-impact improvements. To set it up, you’ll need to send your API logs to ReadMe. Sending logs to ReadMe will have no impact on the performance of your API.
