Team collaboration in ReadMe just got even smoother with Shareable Branches. Every branch now has a shareable URL that makes your branch viewable to anyone, whether or not they're logged in to ReadMe.

Good Docs Require Teamwork
Collaboration makes good documentation, and letting your whole team work on docs together is one of ReadMe's greatest strengths. But often your list of stakeholders includes team members who don't edit the docs directly. With shareable branches, you can run your changes by anyone on your team without requiring a ReadMe login.
Share Without Sacrificing Security
Shareable branches include unique keys to make your pending doc changes accessible, but not publicly available. These URLs are not indexed by search engines; you can safely share your drafts while you continue to iterate without worrying about your work-in-progress changes making their way to the public. This is useful when documenting new releases and upcoming features that you're not quite ready to share with all of your users.
If you want to keep the circle small when working on new features, Enterprise admins can fully disable shareable URLs for any ReadMe project in their organization.
Get Collaborating!
Shareable branches are now available for all projects. Check out the Branches documentation to learn more about version control in ReadMe, and keep an eye on the blog for more ReadMe updates.
