Today we're releasing a brand new, redesigned Audit Logs page. With updated search features, persistent URLs, and CSV export, it's now easier than ever to keep track of changes made to every project in your Enterprise organization.

What Are Audit Logs?

The Audit Logs page keeps a list of every action taken in your ReadMe Enterprise organization and all of your Enterprise projects. Administrators use audit logs to investigate when changes were made, who made them, and how their projects are changing over time. This visibility helps teams understand their velocity, detect errors, and keep everyone on the team working together smoothly.

Drill Down With Keyword Search and Column Filters

Find exactly what you're looking for with keyword search and individual column filters.

Each column has a unique set of filters you can combine to refine the table to exactly the changes you're looking for: the users who made them, a specific date or date range, the project that was changed, or a specific type of event. Events not only include changes made to content inside a project, but also changes to your Enterprise org: permissions, login activity, settings, and more.

You also now have access to a keyword search. The search is scoped to the filtered data, which means you can drill down even further to get the information you need.

Share Logs With Persistent URLs

Show other ReadMe admins exactly what you're seeing with persistent URLs.

Now, any filters and search terms you've used to refine your logs are included in the URL. That means anyone who clicks the link will have the same filters and search applied, which is helpful not only for sharing with others, but also for your future self! You can also use these links to store settings for views you want to see over and over again.

CSV Exports

You can now export your audit logs to a CSV file, allowing you to use it outside your ReadMe Enterprise org.

Easily share data with anyone on your team, plug it into other internal systems, or use external tools to create reports and visualizations. You can decide whether to export all logs or a filtered list.

Try It Out!

The new Audit Logs page is now available for every Enterprise org. You can find it in your Enterprise Dashboard, along with a bunch of other tools to help you manage your projects and understand how users are interacting with your docs.
